The person i would like to name Jessica had this creole boyfriend who dated for a while and she told me they got on the subject of creole heritage. well to make the long story short he dont believe her when she told him she was mixed and he thought it was hilarious because she was brown skinned well my point draws to this question do you really have to be so light to be believed from others that your mixed b/c Jessica always told me she wanted to belong to a group but get this i actually witnessed while we was in school whites and blacks mistreated her like dang i was like i dont understand she said its okay im used to it so like someone fill me in on this issue. because nor blacks or whites accept her and dont get me started on latinos. So is there a misconception or is it just one of those things.

::)In America We have a system called " The One Drop Rule "...That means that if You have one drop of Black blood then You are considered Black..In other words in the minds of Most people You are either Black or White ...There is no in between..
In regards to being Creole Most People , especially of African descent believe that If You are claiming Your Creole Heritage You are trying to not be Black or as they say You want to be white ..
White society has so ingrained this into the Black Man Mind that even they accept and believe it... In other words there is no in between..Black people despise You because they think You don't want to be Black and White People Hate You because You are not White..So You got the whole Society against You...If You travel to other Countries people identify themselves by their Culture and National origins and not Skin color
